Despite some personal challenges with travel related to my claustrophobia, I have found many opportunities since taking up photography as a hobby to capture travel moments. Generally, I see my travels as a travel experience rather than simply a holiday and, while photography is not the core reason for travelling to places, it is a wonderful way to capture moments in time.

I have also been fortunate that several of my overseas travels have been work-related, providing insight into the daily lives of locals. This is particularly true of India, and even more so of Vietnam.

Accordingly, more of my images will probably appear in personally created photobooks than in photographic exhibitions. However, regardless of their use, these travel moments help remind me of the fortunate experiences I have had outside Australia.
